Description Robert Half is seeking a Member Service Representative for a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the banking industry. This role will be based onsite in NW Portland and will involve both in-person and online banking duties. Responsibilities: • Provide an exceptional service experience for members, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere • Accurately and efficiently process banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments • Handle member requests and inquiries via various channels including in-person, phone, email, and mail • Conduct research on accounts to resolve discrepancies related to deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments • Escalate member complaints or issues following appropriate protocols • Accurately input and maintain comprehensive member information, making relevant notes on actions taken • Open new accounts and cross-sell additional credit union services based on member needs and current accounts • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the credit union’s history, philosophy, products, and services • Contribute to the development and implementation of procedures aimed at retaining members and increasing membership • Collaborate effectively with team members, providing assistance as needed • Communicate in a timely manner with management and peers • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management, ensuring follow-through on lengthy projects • Adhere to all credit union and federal policies and procedures. Requirements • Proven experience in Customer Service roles, ideally within the banking sector • Proficient in Data Entry tasks, with a strong attention to detail • Knowledge and understanding of Personal Banking procedures and products • Familiarity with Online Banking platforms and their operation • Ability to process a variety of Bank Transactions accurately • Demonstrable experience in providing Banking Services to customers Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
