Description We are in search of a skilled Member Services Representative to become a part of our team in the Health Insurance sector. This role provides a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Member Services Representative, your primary responsibilities will include processing claims, managing inbound calls, and ensuring high levels of accuracy in data entry. You will also need to effectively manage interruptions and maintain efficiency in your work. Responsibilities: • Process 30-40 claims daily with utmost accuracy • Manage inbound customer calls and inquiries efficiently • Maintain a fast-paced work environment, ensuring accurate data entry • Swiftly adapt to interruptions and resume tasks effectively • Monitor and maintain accurate customer accounts • Utilize Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel for various tasks • Perform basic office tasks such as copying, filing, and email correspondences • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service • Maintain a typing speed of 6,000 - 8,000 kph to ensure efficiency. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required • Must possess basic office skills such as filing, copying, and email management • Demonstrated customer service skills • Ability to type at a speed between 6,000 and 8,000 kph • Prior experience in the Health Insurance industry is a plus • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure • Must maintain confidentiality of member information.
