Membership Relations Coordinator & Marketing Assistant

Primary Responsibilities
• Member Communications (Event Promotions, Notices, Push Notifications, Outbound Marketing Emails & Phone Calls)
• Member Portal (pages (website), app, links to events, calendar accuracy)
• Assisting in Membership (customer service & data entry, collateral development, and covering of office)
• Event Assistance (Decorations, clean up, staffing, ordering supplies, contribute ideas for events, keep dates & times on calendar accurate, attend BEO meetings, send event email reminders, advertise events in Boerne Chamber & on Social Media)
The Member Relations Assistant will work closely with the Membership Director to provide day to day support for Membership Activities and maintain accurate Member accounts. The ideal candidate will be a positive, creative, and energetic individual that can multitask.
 

Responsibilities
Membership Activities
• Create and execute events for members, including booking, supplies and participation.
• Will need to be available evenings and weekends
• Able to follow directions and execute to others in a leadership role.
• Must be able to work and have patience with all ages of people.
Membership Sales and Retention
• Assist the set-up of New Member Packets, including the editing and copying of all necessary Membership collateral & promotional materials.
• Maintain the integrity of the data base by scanning and entering a New Member information into system.
• Attention to detail is very important so that information is correct in the member database.
• Assist with tours and New Member inquiries as needed.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with member account issues or questions as they arise.

Membership Communications
• Collect and assimilate all data for Tapatio Talk (monthly newsletter) that is sent to all members on the 1st of each month and every Friday.
• Maintain current events on the Member Portal including Tapatio App, Members Calendar, and Member’s Website on a weekly and daily basis.
• Send out email blasts regarding special events.
• Create and publish communication papers and boards.
 

Qualifications
• Current and clean Driver’s License
• 2 years of Customer Service preferred.
• Social Events Experience a plus.
• Must be able to walk, stand, lift 25 lbs., and bend continuously.
• Must be a socially adaptive.
• Must have strong computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, Jonas, Delphi, Canva, and Clubhouse Online are the programs used in this position.
