Compensation: $28-$30 per hour.
General Purpose:
Supports the Membership Director in all membership sales activities, such as prospect management, production of prospect and sales reports, and membership files. Continually seeks innovative ways to reach and engage members through various channels. Assists in driving marketing programs to create awareness that generate new membership prospect leads. Links with Troon Prive corporate resources as needed and executes at the club level on activities such as drafting and submitting content for Troon-branded email blasts, social media sharing/tagging, and supply/distribution of Club and/or Troon magazines and directories.
Essential Duties:
Responsible for the annual member communications plan, including but not limited to email blasts, public/private website management, social media, member events, and calendar management.
Develops and ensures accurate maintenance of a contact management system including call records, database, and activity management.
Maintains records on all members and oversees paperwork related to sales, upgrades, downgrades and resignations. Creates the incoming new member file and ensures the accurate completion of designated documentation. Ensures that member files are securely stored.
Maintains waiting lists for racquet and premier memberships, and answers member inquiries on sales list status. Effectively responds to member comments in accordance with club standards, policies, and rules. Utilizes ideas and feedback to continuously improve the services provided to members.
Assists in coordination of all club events to include invitations, mailings and other publicity.
Develops strong relationships with members to encourage participation in club events and maintain a high level of member satisfaction.
Effectively communicates with management, staff and associates to increase knowledge of membership goals, membership satisfaction, membership retention, and membership activities.
Assists in the development of advertising and promotional campaigns and collateral materials to generate membership sales, and manages club’s website and social media content.
Maintains flexibility to take on new tasks as directed by the GM.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills. Confident in writing and editing in a professional environment, with proven ability to develop error-free content in relation to facts, spelling and punctuation, consistently and on schedule to the standards established.
Ability to work independently with little supervision, and has regular and reliable attendance.
5+ years’ experience in a marketing-communications role and degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field experience.
Possess an eye for design and the ability to take a project from concept to reality.
Proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, HTML, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and comfortable utilizing to create multiple types of digital and print projects.
Basic video editing and photography skills and open to growth and development in these areas.
Conversant with all forms of Social Media and how they can be used to support all communications.
Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities and/or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches.
