Membership Sales Manager - Club

As the Sales Manager for our Wellness Club, you'll oversee and direct all aspects of membership sales and member communication activities, including primary ownership of the full life cycle of membership--member acquisition, engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Responsibilities WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE The Sales Manager will drive the execution of the strategic sales and membership engagement and work with marketing to communicate all collateral needs for membership-related business needs. Responsible for soliciting new corporate and group sales accounts, entertaining, and maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals in services, food, beverage, and room rental. This successful colleague will be expected to deliver at a high level of strategic thinking and independence, with emphasis on sales and strong leadership, while successfully leveraging key business partners across the organization. In this role, you'll be responsible for: Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve budgets and targets Developing customer relationships to increase market share and sales revenue Understanding and communicating the value propositions and processes through proposals and presentations Monitoring competitor offers and driving market share. Additional functions include: Operations/Sales: Responsible for driving revenue production for membership sales/retention, private events, and member relations. Responsible for selling Canyon Ranch club memberships. Secures upsell revenue opportunities and brand awareness for members. Plans, implements, and oversees internal/external partnerships to drive awareness, sales, and member engagement/retention. Group and Corporate Sales: Identify and target specific market segments for potential corporate clientele and to sell corporate memberships and/or group events; Prepare data weekly for analysis and a monthly report on all accounts of corporate and group sales, new leads and potential bookings; responsible for partnering with marketing, advertising directly related to engaging corporate partners and groups to ensure that these are kept within budget, and in line with agreed brand strategy; produce reports and recommendations on sales strategies in partnership with the General Manager and marketing/programming teams; Communicate group and corporate event details with team to ensure seamless execution and world class experiences; establish and cultivate key business relationships with partner hotel and other community resources to create experiences that drive both revenue generation and positive Revenate scores. Strategy: Implement sales strategy that ensures attainment of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and profitability. Collaborates with marketing team as needed, to create unique connections with all sources of membership including business properties in close proximity to the club, members, and founding club members. Qualifications WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL 3+ years of previous experience in Membership or related hospitality sales Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Valid Driver's license with an acceptable driving history TABC and Food Handler's Certification within 90 days of employment WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE Use of services and facilities including the spa, fitness classes, lectures, and overnight stays at all Canyon Ranch locations nationwide.
