Working in NVIDIA's Silicon Solutions Engineering group, you will be drive memory qualification on current and future Tegra/GPU/CPU silicon/products. Cross team collaboration with teams from logic design, circuit design, architects, PCB and software engineers to ensure successful product development with aggressive product cycles.
What you’ll be doing:
Participate in silicon bringup & post-silicon validation of new silicon with the objective of driving product to mass production
Perform DDR4/LPDDR3/LPDDR4/LPDDR4x/GDDR5x/GDDR6x bring-up and validation on Tegra/GPU processors
Perform signal measurements on Memory controller and DRAM interface to make sure designs are meeting JEDEC Spec
Tune and optimize register setting on Tegra/GPU memory controller and DRAM register settings for system stability, maximum performance, and power optimization.
Perform functional regression and interoperability testing on supported DRAM technology with Tegra/GPU processors across process, voltage, and temperatures
Support DRAM vendors in DRAM validation/certification
Perform debug on Processors, DRAM and board issues related to logic design & signal integrity failures
Work closely with Application Engineering teams to resolve customer issues in time critical environment
Architect essential next-generation memory product features and work in multi-functional teams to drive them to production.
Work alongside with system architects, chip and board designers, software/firmware engineers, HW/SW applications engineers, product managers, sales, and operations, in a fast-paced, high-energy, harmonious work environment to bring industry-defining products to the market.
Gain knowledge, experience, and best practices in validating a state-of-the-art GPU/SoC.
What we need to see:
MS in EE/CE, Engineering
4+ years related experience a plus
Good understanding on DDR4/LPDDR3/LPDDR4/LPDDR4x/GDDR5x/GDDR6x memory signaling/protocol
Good knowledge on PCB design
Good knowledge of signal integrity and analog interface characterization
Detail oriented, reliable, Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Experienced with Python, JavaScript, C/C++, Windows, and Linux.
Good communication skills in English.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Good understanding on memory signaling/protocol (LPDDR5X/DDR5/GDDRX)
Strong programming skills (Perl/Python).
Experienced with lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers)
Exposure to BIOS, drivers, and other software applications
Knowledgeable in memory signal integrity, statistics, timing analysis, fault analysis, sampling, computer architecture, filters.
