The MEMS Development Engineer will be part of MEMS Team and responsible for development and debug of new designs through development and production phases. This position will require working with multiple teams including MEMS Design, CMOS Design, Fabrication, Project Management and Production Test. Applicant must be familiar with MEMS inertial sensor technologies such as accelerometer and gyroscope performance metrics, usage, limitations, and system integration.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own sensor debug activities: hypothesis generation, root-cause analysis, experiments, data analysis and debug meetingsSupport sensor validation and product validation activitiesSupport test development for both production and engineering needsSupport procurement of new lab equipmentProvide feedback to support project strategic decisionsSupport customer requests.QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION:
MS or PhD in Mechanical / Civil / Electronics Engineering or Physics, including relevant academic or professional experience1-6 years experience with fundamental knowledge of MEMS sensor technologies and fabrication, with focus on accelerometers and gyroscopes. Experience in characterization of MEMS or other comparable physical sensorKnowledge of lab equipment for electronic devicesFamiliarity with failure analysis techniques is a plusPractical knowledge of C++/#, Python or Matlab programming languagesProficient in data collection, data analysis, and statistical analysisPassionate about hands-on experiments and troubleshootingExcellent written and verbal communication skills and teamwork skill Share
