Candidate will assemble, operate, repair, and debug electro-optical automated test systems. They will be responsible for developing both individual test beds as well as the overall MEMS test capabilities for the team, supporting device integration with the larger sub-systems, and coordinating results and feedback on device performance to improve MEMS design. Experience with optomechanical best practices preferred. Candidate will be expected to operate in a highly independent environment, identify their own knowledge gaps, and learn pro-actively. Candidate will receive design of experiment and be expected to build test bed systems that meet experiment needs. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong background in laser systems and laboratory safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
Develop MEMS test and metrology capabilities for the team
Coordinate test results and feedback on device performance to improve MEMS design
Assemble, operate, repair and debug electro-optical automated test systems
Perform visual inspection and detection of unexpected device under test (DUT) behavior
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lab
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
