The Mental Health Worker serves as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders in the care of the patient experiencing mental health crisis providing direct and indirect care. The Mental Health Worker is responsible for collecting and reporting of information to the care team including supervising RN, Charge Nurse, BART team, and Substance Abuse Navigator. Additional responsibilities include de-escalation, ADL's, vital signs, patient observations/rounding and to observe safety risks throughout the unit.

Required Qualifications:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Avade and/or other de-escalation training upon hire.Preferred Qualifications:
6 months Experience providing direct patient care as a MHW in a behavioral health or chemical dependency inpatient, residential or outpatient program/unit. 1 year Behavioral Health experience or related experience.Why Join Providence?
