Mental Health Counselor III : Master’s degree in Counselor Education, Counseling, or Clinical or Psychology or Doctorate in Counselor Education. Five years full-time equivalent post-licensure experience in a college counseling center or other relevant setting – or – CCMHC / MAC credential and three years full-time post licensure experience in a college or university counseling center or relevant setting. Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor ( LPCS ) in the State of Texas. Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience. Mental Health Counselor IV: Master’s degree in Counselor Education, Counseling, or Clinical or Psychology or Doctorate in Counselor Education. Ten years full-time equivalent post-licensure experience in a college counseling center or other relevant setting – or – CCMHC / MAC credential and seven years full-time post licensure experience in a college or university counseling center or relevant setting. Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor ( LPC -S) in the State of Texas. Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience. Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only): Mental Health Counselor I, II, III , IV:Provides personal counseling via individual, couples, and group modalities as well as crisis intervention. Participates in the development and delivery of prevention-based outreach programming. Provides consultation for the camps community, participates in the centers after-hours on-call rotation, and participates on appropriate Counseling Center and /or university committees. Performs other related duties as assigned.
