Oversee scheduling of all mental health staffCoordinate and serve as liaison for specialty courts and transfersAssist in the oversight of the mental health intake process and sick callPerform mental health sick call, screenings and evaluations Qualifications
Qualifications for Mental Health Counselor:
Be Master's prepared and may be a LISW, LISW-S, LPCC or LPCC-SMust hold and maintain a current, unrestricted license in FloridaA valid CPR cardA minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience in a mental health care setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred. Must have knowledge and experience in the identification and treatment of mental health and co-occurring substance abuse disorders, discharge planning, principles of social work, basic principles of individual and group behaviorA working knowledge of psychotropic medications.We know you may have questions before applying.
