Under general supervision this position provides quality individual, group, family and marital therapy with children, adolescents and adults.  Providence Valdez Behavioral Health is a community based behavioral health service, which provides a variety of outpatient treatment services to assist adults, children and families.

This posting is for multiple openings of a Mental Health Counselor Masters at Providence Kodiak Island Counseling Center in Kodiak Island, AK. We are hiring for the following positions in the School Program Department:

Mental Health Counselor Masters - Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 Hours Per Week  $10,000 Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Required Qualifications: 

Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Education or related Behavioral Health Field to obtain licensure 1 year of Counseling 

Preferred Qualifications:

Substance Abuse Professional Certification (e.g., CDC I or II, National Master Addiction Counselor) within 1 year of hire
