This position provides behavioral health treatment and support services for clients and staff at Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise (CARE). These services include; mental health diagnostic assessment, individual, group and family therapies, consultation to the treatment team (including psychiatry, and participation in performance improvement and program development committees).
_CARE Carlton (Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise) is a_ _substance use disorder treatment facility that provides treatment for individuals with substance use and mental health disorders who are civilly committed for treatment. This is a state-of-the-art facility that specializes in providing services to individuals with co-occurring disorders, including those who may have high medical needs._
Responsibilities include:
+ Provide clinical and programmatic consultation and direction to direct care and professional staff regarding the overall treatment of individuals with dual disorders of substance use and mental illness.
+ Consultation regarding content of individual treatment plans, including staff interventions.
+ _The independently licensed Mental Health Professional in this position is expected to provide clinical guidance for peers, offer sophisticated problem-solving skills when providing consultations, and provide mentoring and educational experiences to enhance the department’s overall clinical competence_ .
+ In addition, the position provides clinical leadership to treatment teams and helps facilitate an integrated and collaborative team process.
**Minimum Qualifications**
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
+ Master’s degree in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or closely related field; **AND**
+ Licensed or license eligible by the State of Minnesota as an independent behavioral health professional (i.e. Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); **AND**
+ Have at least three (3) years of post-master’s degree experience providing clinical services
**OR**
+ Doctorate degree (PhD, PsyD, or DSW); **AND**
+ Licensed or license eligible by the State of Minnesota as an independent mental health professional (i.e. Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience treating individuals with co-occurring disorders using integrated approaches, competency in the administration of mental health scales and assessments, and providing treatment in an interdisciplinary team model – (previous preferred qual for same position)
