QUALIFICATIONS: Required: + Master's degree in social work, psychology, nursing or related clinical field required + Certified New Jersey Mental Health Screener or immediately eligible within six months of hire required + Two years experience in a mental health setting, preferably in crisis intervention/emergency services Scheduling Requirements: + Day Shift + Per Diem scheduling Essential Functions: + Brings all unusual situation, incidents or difficulties encountered to the provision of emergency services to the attention of the Director or his/her designate + Facilitates voluntary/involuntary hospitalization of clients in accordance with the Emergency Services policies and procedures + Fully documents all client contacts and submits in a timely manner + Provides and completes all documentation records and forms as stipulated in the Emergency Services Department policies and procedures + Provides crisis intervention, information, and referral services on the telephone, in the Emergency Room and throughout the community + Provides weekend, evening, and holiday coverage depending on the program needs + Performs all other duties as assigned Choosing RWJBarnabas Health!
