Inova Center for Personal Health is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Technician Coordinator to join the team. This role will be full-time day shift 4-days 10-hour shifts (times vary 8:00 a.m.- 6:30 p.m., 9:00 a.m. - 7: 30 p.m. Noon – 10:30 p.m.

Mental Health Technician Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
• Provides administrative support by answering phones, transcribing orders and maintaining charts.
• Provides basic triage of patients, registers patients, takes vital signs and provides information on status.
• Communicates abnormal values and clinical changes to the appropriate staff member within 15 minutes.
• Answers and screens telephone calls while providing appropriate information or referring to other staff members.
• Registers patients for emergency and outpatient services while ensuring complete and accurate information is obtained.
• Schedules appointments in automated scheduling system. Makes copies, sends/receives faxes and opens/distributes mail.
• Reinforces transition/discharge teaching and home care skills.
Additional Requirements:
• Work schedule: 4-days 10-hour shifts (times vary 8:00 a.m.- 6:30 p.m., 9:00 a.m. - 7: 30 p.m. Noon – 10:30 p.m. This position requires rotation shifts working at IFMC Hospital also.
