 The Mental Health Technician II Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provide ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to Ensure safety and wellbeing. Promote communication and therapeutic relationships with patients. Assist with physical care under the direction of a RN. 

 Required Certification/Licensures:

BLS (Basic Life Support)Driver's License - If applicableCNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred Patient Care Technician - preferred

 Required Education:

High School or EquivalentAssociate's degree in related field - PreferredBachelor's degree in related field- Preferred

 Required Experience:

Emergency Medical Technician - PreferredHealthcare - Preferred
