Mental Health Worker

Position Purpose:

The Mental Health Worker will provide therapeutic support and milieu maintenance with children and adolescents in a Child Crisis Residential (CIRCA) setting. You will conduct socialization activities, assist with day-to-day personal care needs of consumers, provide crisis prevention interventions, and provide individual interventions including case management support.

What you will do: 

Assist with the completion of intakes and necessary electronic documentationContact PCPs and coordinate to establish most recent physical exam for consumersAdmit and integrate the resident into the CIRCA programWork with consumers to develop a comprehensive treatment plan

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Social/Human Services field and 1 year of direct care experience working with children OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent and 12 semester credit hours in a human services field and 2 years of human services experience (1 year of mental health direct care experience)Valid Driver’s license and ability to operate an organization vehiclePre-employment drug screen, physical and tb, Act 33/34/73 clearances
