Mental Health Worker I
**Key qualifications to be considered for this include:** + High school diploma or its equivalent + 1 year of related clinical experience (has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field of mental or behavioral health) + **Key responsibilities of this role include:** + Record and document vital signs + Supervise meals + Record and document meal percentages + Encourage daily patient self-care (hygiene) + Prepare and supervise snacks + Perform and document safety checks on each patient every 15 minutes + Perform and document room/contraband checks to ensure safety + Plan and implement therapeutic activity + Complete risk prevention measures (fall, allergy) + Assist in admit/discharge process + Assist patients with basic activities of daily living + Create a safe, therapeutic environment + Build rapport and use de-escalation when necessary **About Northwest Health** Northwest Health provides inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic imaging, medical, surgical and emergency services to the Bentonville, Springdale, Fayetteville, Johnson and Siloam Springs communities in northwestern Arkansas.
