Mental/Psychiatric Health Technician
Job Title: Mental/Psychiatric Health Technician Position Description: We are seeking a dedicated Mental/Psychiatric Health Technician to care for individuals with psychiatric conditions and substance use disorders. The technician will follow the instructions of physicians, nurses, or other health practitioners and monitor patients' safety, physical, and emotional well-being, reporting directly to medical staff. Minimum Requirements: + High School diploma or equivalent required + Associate’s degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred (or per facility requirements) + Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience preferred + Current CPR certification (if applicable) + TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable) + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age General Comments: + ASAP starts + 32+ hours/week, 26 weeks preferred + Most needed shift: Overnight (9 pm to 8:30 am) + Other shifts: Weekdays (1 pm to 9 pm), Day shifts (8 am to 4:30 pm), Weekend day shifts (hours can vary) + Pay: $15 per hour If you are passionate about providing compassionate care and meet the qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
