Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to support our current project at Maryland Hall in Annapolis, MD. This project involves the renovation of an old school turned into an Art Center. The role requires overseeing an occupied renovation, moving tenants within the facility while renovations are ongoing, with the main scope being MEP upgrades. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all subcontractors on site and interacting with tenants, providing updates on the project's progress.
ResponsibilitiesOversee all subcontractors on site.Manage the project schedule and ensure timely completion of tasks.Interact with tenants and provide regular updates on the renovation progress.Coordinate and manage the movement of tenants within the facility during the renovation.Ensure that MEP upgrades are performed efficiently and effectively.Supervise additional subcontractors needed to repair spaces as MEP upgrades are completed.Essential SkillsAt least 3 years of experience working for a General Contractor in a project support role.Experience managing a project schedule.Experience with MEP project upgrades.Strong interior construction experience, particularly with rehabilitation work.Ability to manage multiple subcontractors across various projects on site.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in adaptive re-use projects is preferred.Strong organizational and communication skills.Work Environment
The Superintendent will work on-site with a small project team. The project site is currently exposed to the elements during renovations. This role involves hands-on management and coordination in a dynamic environment, ensuring the smooth execution of the renovation project.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.27 - $43.27/hr.
