With a reputation for excellence built over a decade, Schnabel Engineering shapes the foundation of our urban infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be playing an essential role in our team, ensuring every project we undertake observes the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. **Job Responsibilities:** + Coordinate field staff overseeing MEP capital projects at water/wastewater treatment facilities, including new construction, upgrades and replacement in kind + Maintain redline Record Documents + Mentoring MEP inspection team + Ensure documentation if Owner Independent Assurance quality checks on projects + Assist Resident Engineer and Construction Manager in the oversight of the projects as requested + Providing scheduling, constructability reviews, and recommendations + Maintains good relationships with co-workers, vendors, subcontractors, owners, plant operations, engineers and architects + Track construction workflows including submittals, requests for information/change, non-conformance, unsatisfactory work, etc. + Engage with CMIS system (Procore, e-Builder, SmartSheet, etc.) **Required Skills/Experience:** + 5 years experience working in water/wastewater or process plant design or construction + 5 years related experience in MEP design on retail or commercial building construction projects + University degree or equivalent in a technical discipline + Leadership and management skills and the ability to relate to the complexities of managing work in active facilities, while ensuring uninterrupted plant operation **Required Skills/Experience:** + 3-5 + years of experience on an Owner's Resident Engineering and Inspection team on water/wastewater or process facility projects, preferred **Other Requirements:** + Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record, and credit check + Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening The compensation range for this position is between $130,000 to $150,000. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors.
