OVERVIEW We are looking for an experienced Meraki Systems Engineer with a background in network and wireless technologies to join our team! You will be part of the Engineering team for a large-scale, logistically complex technology refresh program for large K-12 client. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience with a technology vendor or systems integrator designing and implementing routers, switches, and wireless systems and solutions using Cisco/Meraki Infrastructure. This individual must have attention to detail and documentation skills. You must be Meraki certified, have a car and license. RESPONSIBILITIES + · Serve as the integration lead and technical resource on implementation projects, providing guidance to the engineers to ensure successful project delivery. + · The role will be responsible for helping with the rack and stack and cabling of equipment for each integration of each site assigned. + · Working alongside ASEs and technicians on integrations and addressing any issues during this process. + · Responsible for escalating any issues in a timely manner to accomplish resolution + · Accurately understanding and documenting client environment for pre and post project designs + · Point of escalation for field ASEs and technicians who need direction or support during implementation + · Achieving and maintaining industry standard certifications aligned with Custom’s core competencies as directed by manager + · Monitoring technical service delivery against program SLA’s. + · Must be willing to work either AM or PM shift – typically 8AM-5PM or 3PM-12AM + · Responsible for weekly meetings on deliverables to any of the teams + · Perform other job-related duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS + Must be Meraki certified + 3+ years of network integration and network documentation experience + Cisco certified preferred + Understanding of wired and wireless networks + Understanding of network cabling + Excellent Cisco and Meraki trouble shooting skills + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Excellent customer service skills + Strong team building skills + Attention to detail + Must have access to a vehicle to travel into the five boroughs of NYC + New York City Department of Education Experience or Education experience a plus Custom Computer Specialists Offers: + Competitive salaries + Comprehensive benefits including: + Medical and dental plans + Company paid vision and short and long term disability plans + Flexible spending programs including Healthcare, Dependent Care, Transit and Parking + 401K with employer match + Tuition reimbursement + Onsite fitness center (or gym membership reimbursement for client or satellite based employees) + Company paid life Insurance + Paid holidays and vacation + Technical certification gift card rewards program Come experience our unique culture and see how our “right people, right results” philosophy has led to our outstanding success!
