Cisco Meraki’s IoT team is seeking a driven Hardware Engineering Co-op to join the Meraki Vision (MV) Hardware team. The MV product line is one of the most successful and fastest-growing cloud managed security cameras in the market.
Program Overview:As an engineering Co-op on the IoT hardware team your work will be focused around the future of Meraki’s MV camera products. By joining our small team you will get hands-on experience with powerful imaging technology, learn to evaluate sophisticated products through tear downs and technical analysis, engage with extraordinary vendors, and get up-close exposure to the NPI development Processes and the JDM manufacturing model. Through these activities you will learn and practice skills required to work multi-functionally with a wide breadth of various hardware and software teams. You will scope and lead your own projects with a high level of autonomy under the mentorship of a close-knit engineering team
You should have experience of, or be ready to learn how to:System levels electrical architecture, common digital interfaces, schematic design, and board layout basicsBash and python scriptingCamera and photography concepts such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO, White balance, etc.Analytic reporting and visual data representationYou are someone who:
