Marsh is seeking candidates to join our Mercer Marsh Benefits Team as a Client Executive – Employee Health & Benefits based in Milan.

Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) is a leading employee benefits consultancy and insurance broker. Our experienced team can help Client succeed globally and provide them with a single source for managing the costs, people risks, and complexities of employee benefits.

You will join a team of insurance professionals with powerful analytics and market insights, who can help Clients identify, quantify and manage exposures - and reduce the total cost of their people risk.

We will count on you to:

Manage a clients portfolio, including some large, complex and/or multinational clients, with budget accountabilities and actively contribute to office goals achievement, both in a growth and development and in a retention way;

Support clients in their requests, being responsible of direct relationships with customers for the management of their employee benefits insurance solutions, pointing out their needs and providing the most suitable and customized solutions, both risk analysis and evaluation and risk transferring on the insurance market related;

Contribute to develop opportunities management and deployment, to sales initiatives and to develop EH&B new and expanded business in sales meeting and offer proposals, using a company value proposition deepen knowledge;

Close sales deals by negotiating values and basic pricing structures to best serve both the business and client needs;

Coordinate the operational management team for his/her clients portfolio (Client Representatives, Specialties, Placement, Marsh Advisory, ecc..), granting a correct activities planning and an effective and collaborative internal communication process, according to company clients policies;

Maintain account relationships and work to ensure the business is viewed as a preferred vendor;

Coordinate, recommend and evaluate delivery of solutions and products to ensure alignment with potential and identified requirements, agreements, quality control standards, compliance requirements and established processes;

Keep abreast of Industry developments and trends, participate in events and conferences representing the Company and have a broad and powerful professional network.

What you need to have: 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;

At least 5/8 years of professional experience gained in the insurance sector, preferably in client facing roles and on employee health & benefits insurance solutions;

Fluent in written and spoken English and Italian languages;

Be results oriented with a strong client orientation attitude;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
