ActionLink is seeking an engaging, tech-savvy individual to join our Field Sales and Merchandising Team!

In this hybrid role, you would be responsible for a diverse range of merchandising tasks each week, from traveling to a variety of big-box retail establishments to assemble and maintain product displays, to showcasing and demonstrating the Nespresso Vertuo Coffee Machine on weekends.

Locations and Schedule

Merchandising work in Wheaton, MD and surrounding area; up to 20 hours per week: open availability required Monday-Wednesday with additional hours, as needed Nespresso Coffee Sales Advisor; 4 hours per weekend; Saturdays; 12pm-4pm w/potential for Sunday hoursBloomingdales in Chevy Chase, MD

What You Will Do:

Weekday Merchandising Duties:

Store Visits: Complete merchandising projects at major retail establishments like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and others within an assigned territoryPurpose: To turn shelves into sales magnets and drive revenue by ensuring the proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our clients' promotional product displaysClients: Represent innovative, global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and many othersReporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each completed store visit

Weekend Sales Duties:

Provide the full Nespresso experience; coffee tastings, engaging machine demonstrations, and recommending product solutions that cater to customers' specific flavor preferencesUse positive sales closing techniques; convey Nespresso's sustainability and recycling credentials Train store associates to ensure their communication of Nespresso product information with confidenceMaintain tasting table/demo area in accordance with proper hygiene requirements and visual standardsComplete surveys with feedback and pictures after each shift

Are You A Match?

Retail Experience: Previous merchandising and retail sales experience is highly desirableVersatility: Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territoryAttention to Detail: Ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagramsIndependence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently most of the time and collaborating with a small team when neededTech-ready: Access to the internet, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi and GPS enabled smart device with the latest operating system update. Access to a laptop or desktop computer is a strong plus.Travel Ability: A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle transportationPhysical Requirements: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistanceEnthusiast of coffee related beveragesComfortable presenting to individuals and groups
