Key Responsibilities of the Merchandise Assistant:
*Assists in managing the retail operation for the Golf Shop
*Monthly inventory count
*Greets guests upon arrival into the Golf Shop
*Prepare all merchandise for the floor
*Assists in creating/receiving Purchase Orders
*Assists in maintaining the golf shop cleaning standards
*Maintain a professional appearance
*Available to work weekends and holidays

Minimum Qualifications for the Merchandise Assistant:
*High School education or its equivalent
*Six months to one year related experience and/or training

Physical Requirements and Other Qualifications:
*Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
*Frequent bending, turning, kneeling and stooping
*Computer skills with Point of Sales (POS) systems and Microsoft applications
*Ability to multi-task: answer phones, greet members, answer questions, sell and place special orders
