Summary:

As a Merchandising Associate you will be responsible for ensuring that retail store shelves are stocked with products for the accuracy and cleanliness of point of purchase displays. Merchandising associate will be required to visit each assigned store at least once to twice a week and on a as needed basis. 

Essential Job Functions: ·    Install and place promotional materials as required
·    Reorganize displays or product areas based on the needs of the client. This could include the full remodel of a section and / or placing new product and shifting current product to a new home on the shelf.
·    Complete call reports detailing completion of the required merchandising event
·    Ensure that stores and shelves are stocked with the right types and quantities of products
·    Display, arrange/rearrange, price, and rotate products in store
·    Maintain store shelves by removing dated or damaged products
·    Monitor store inventory based on sales and intake
·    Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and bestsellers
·    Make recommendations for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data
·    Work and communicate with buyers, suppliers, stores, and distributors
·    Responsible for assigned territory of stores within a local area
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  
·    Ability to engage customers and establish relationships.
·    Skilled with tools and able to utilize directions to build out complex displays.
·    Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. 
·    Proficient with technology – data gathering and basic computer use.

Job Requirements: 
·    High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
·    Valid US Driver’s License
·    Reliable transportation
·    Regularly required to stoop, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
