Job Overview:
The Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing the operational tasks necessary to ensure seamless execution of our merchandising initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, onboarding new vendors and new products, processing price changes and promotions, and analyzing inventory and PO discrepancies.
The Merchandising Coordinator works closely with the merchandising team, our vendors, and marketing teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Product-Related Administration:
Vendor Set-Up & Maintenance: Manage the setup and ongoing maintenance of vendor accounts Item Maintenance: Oversee item information updates, including all product data elements New Item Setup: Coordinate the introduction of new products, ensuring all data is entered correctly into enterprise systems Cost Changes: Monitor and update product cost changes across relevant platforms RFP for SKUs/Cost Alignment: Prepare and process Requests for Proposal (RFP) to ensure accurate SKU and cost alignment with vendors Special Orders: Handle special product requests and coordinate fulfillment with vendors and internal teamsPromotion-Related Administration:
Promo Tracking: Monitor promotional activities to ensure accurate execution and report on promo performance ISS Setup: Coordinate and submit all merchandising promotions for setupOther Administrative Responsibilities:
PO Variance: Track and manage purchase order variances, addressing discrepancies between orders and deliveries Inventory Feed for Drop Ship: Manage inventory feeds and coordinate with vendors for drop-shipping processesQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a corporate retail or merchandising environment, or a related role Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to perform multiple tasks and work under a stringent timetable Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsLeslie's provides a robust benefits package, including:
