The Merchandising Intern will support in product assortment planning, inventory management, and market trend analysis.
In This Role\nAssist Merchant Team with audits on new and existing information including costing, pricing, dimensions, fabric, and site information in various internal systems \nWork closely with Merchant team on ad hoc reporting and presentations for both internal and external deliverables \nParticipate in cross-functional project teams to help with process improvements related to Merchandising, Product Development, Product Data, Buying & Planning \nPerform research and analysis of market competitor’s assortments and pricing as designated by Merchant team \nSupport in analyzing current and future trends in the furniture industry to help inform Four Hands product strategy \nOther duties as assigned by Management\nUphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team: \nBe open and honest \nReach for excellence \nAct with responsibility \nValue the whole person \nEnjoy the journey\n\n\n
The Ideal Person\nCurrently pursuing a degree in merchandising, supply chain management, business, or related field \nKnowledge of Excel with aptitude to learn new systems quickly \nStrong analytical and creative problem-solving skills \nDemonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of assigned work projects \nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal \nHighly organized and detail oriented \nAbility to influence cross-functionally \n
Internship Program at Four HandsThe Internship Program is aimed to provide students with hands-on experience in the area they are most passionate about. Interns at Four Hands have the opportunity to work closely with various departments to gain valuable knowledge about the company. The program focuses on professional development, offering mentorship from like-minded professionals and the chance to contribute to real projects. Interns are encouraged to bring innovative ideas to make the experience challenging and rewarding. This program will enable students to gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their future careers.
