Join the Tractor Supply Co. Merchandising Summer Internship Program and embark on a journey to discover the exciting world of retail merchandising. As an intern, you will have the unique opportunity to work on projects that support various facets of our merchandising operations, including planning, product development, supplier diversity, event management, and collaboration with different buying teams. Competitive hourly wage.  Exposure to various aspects of the retail industry.  Networking opportunities with industry professionals.  Mentorship and guidance from experienced team members.  Real-world experience contributing to projects with a direct impact on our business.  Potential for future career opportunities within Tractor Supply Co.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market, conduct market research, and provide insights to enhance our product offerings.  Events: Contribute to the planning and execution of special merchandising events and promotions, both in-store and online.  Buying Teams Collaboration: Work closely with different buying teams to understand their unique needs and contribute to product selection, procurement, and vendor relationships.  Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics tools to gather insights, monitor key performance indicators, and make data-driven recommendations.  What We Look For Ideally, a junior, senior, or graduate student, although sophomores with a strong interest in retail and merchandising, is encouraged to apply.  Pursuing a degree in operations management, retail merchandising, consumer science, marketing, data analytics, or a related field.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.  Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.  Ability to work in the Greater Nashville Area for the duration of the internship.  Relocation assistance is available to qualified candidates.  Working Conditions Hybrid / Flexible working conditions Physical Requirements Sitting Standing (not walking) Walking Lifting up to 10 pounds Disclaimer
