Position Overview
As the Merchandising Manager, you will own the strategy and execution for assigned product categories, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends. This role involves strategic planning, sourcing, vendor management, pricing optimization, and data-driven decision-making. You'll collaborate across teams to deliver a seamless omni-channel (in-store and digital) experience that maximizes profitability, grows market share, and enhances customer satisfaction.\n

Key Responsibilities\n

Strategy Development & Planning\n\nDevelop and implement strategic plans to achieve category-specific financial objectives.\nAnalyze sales, profit margins, inventory turns, and GMROI to identify growth opportunities.\nConduct market research to stay ahead of trends and customer needs.\nPrepare and manage category budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.\n\n

Product Merchandising\n\nCurate compelling product assortments based on performance metrics and market trends.\nDrive new product introductions and phase out underperforming items.\nMaintain accuracy across in-store planograms, signage, and digital product pages.\nUse data-driven insights for timely and impactful decision-making.\n\n

Relationship Management\n\nPartner with sourcing teams to evaluate and establish strong vendor relationships.\nNegotiate contracts and pricing to optimize cost-effectiveness.\nCollaborate with marketing, sales, and operations to ensure product availability and promotions.\nEngage with franchisees and store associates to gather feedback and drive adoption of category programs.\n\n

Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.\n4+ years of experience in product management, category management, merchandising, or a related role.\nProficiency in MS Office\/Google Suite; strong Excel\/Google Sheets skills preferred. Looker experience is a plus.\nAbility to travel up to 10%, including occasional overnight stays.\n\n

Physical Requirements\n\nRegularly sit, use hands, talk, hear, and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.\nUtilize standard office equipment in a quiet work environment.\n\n
