Merchandising Manager - Gaming notebook
Key Responsibilities: * Merchandising Strategy: Develop and implement effective merchandising programs to promote brands and products, ensuring alignment with key campaigns and promotions. * Campaign Management: Manage product merchandising for high-impact campaigns, including daily deals and category-specific exposures. * Vendor Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with major brand vendors, manage vendor funding and spent, and ensure effective utilization of resources. * Market Analysis: Regularly review competitor activities and internal/external trend changes to identify opportunities and enhance merchandising strategies. * Content Management: Oversee the process of managing content on Newegg platforms, ensuring accuracy and optimization. * Sales Coordination: Forecast potential sales, schedule communications with key sellers, and provide insights on sales trends at various price points. * Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams to execute merchandising programs, identify external advertising opportunities, and facilitate a promotional calendar. * Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain reporting metrics to measure the performance of merchandising efforts. * Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new product launches, and competitive price points. * Additional Responsibilities: Handle production and supply difficulties and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field; or 2+ years of relevant experience. * Knowledge of e-commerce marketing, Google PLA, SEM and SPA * Excellent analytical, organizational, and coordination skills with a keen eye for detail. * Exceptional oral and written communication skills with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. * Team-oriented mindset, able to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams. * Results-driven, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines.
