**Position Purpose:** The goal of this program is to recognize and attract top IT talent to The Home Depot. This is a great opportunity for students interested in a post-graduate full-time position with our IT organization. **Key Responsibilities:** + Gain proficiency in at least one programming language/development skill set by developing code or writing programs for small-scale projects within assigned technical area based on business requirements documents and/or technical design documents. + Assist with unit testing by creating test plans and executing unit tests. Present findings to management. + Follow the established processes, policies, standards and procedures to assure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies and standards. **Direct Manager/Direct Reports:** + Typically reports to Manager, Information Technology + 1. No direct responsibility for supervising others. **Travel Requirements:** + Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. **Physical Requirements:** + Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. **Working Conditions:** + Located in a comfortable indoor area.
