Flower Foods, Inc. is looking to add a talented Merchandising Supervisor to our quickly growing team in Northern California!


Title: Merchandising Supervisor
Salary Range: 70,000 – 80,000/year
Office Location: Sacramento, Vacaville, or Concord

 

The Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team to ensure merchandising procedures and standards are consistently met. This role requires collaboration with staffing firms to hire, onboard, and train new associates, as well as managing the master schedule and addressing callouts to maintain store coverage.

The work schedule for this role will be Saturday – Wednesday and the supervisor will personally provide coverage in stores on Sundays and Wednesdays when necessary. Additionally, they will monitor performance, address issues, and provide coaching or re-training to maintain high-quality execution.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities


• Work closely with staffing firm to hire, onboard and train new part-time associates
• Liaise with corporate sales enablement to maintain the training program to ensure it’s concise yet effective and easy to roll out
• Manage master schedule
• Manage Sun/Wed callouts as they occur and re-balance store coverage
• Personally cover stores on Sun/Wed when necessary
• Work collaboratively with Route Sales Directors (RSD) in the market to maintain high market standards
• Manage assigned team to ensure merchandising procedures and standards are being met
• Address performance issues and provide re-training and coaching where needed
• Manage merchandising KPIs – quality of the pull up, efficiency of the representative
• Develop plans and programs to ensure promotions/display communications are effectively flowed out to the organization.  

Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in sales or general management. 
• Past experience as a supervisor of a hourly sales force or disbursed team is a plus

Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience
