JOB SUMMARY:
The Merchandise Support Analyst will directly support the Cigarette/Tobacco Pricing Manager by coordinating promotions and information across multiple teams and developing and enhancing working pricing and cost support models to execute monthly Cigarettes and Tobacco pricing strategies. Responsible for understanding Category Managers’ business intent and executing that intent through company proprietary business system.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Support the on-going needs of the Cigarettes and Tobacco Pricing function, including:Coordinates with Category Managers on pricing/promotion intent and appropriate teams needed to execute into system.Creation of cost support agreements to ensure vendor funding is appropriately captured.Collaborate with Pricing Analysts to carry out new promotion setups and monthly rebate funding for all eligible cigarette and tobacco brand stylesMaintains the assignment of each 7-Eleven store to appropriate pricing zones and elections based on such factors as geographic location, tobacco contract and tax jurisdiction.Generates and distributes standard pricing reports and Tobacco contract store lists.Creates reports based on ad-hoc analysis requests and special projects.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Must have the ability to develop and adapt complex pricing and cost support models and reports using MS Excel.Competency with both standard and custom Business Intelligence systems, such as Power BI preferred.Position requires high school diploma plus 3 to 4 years experience with heavy PC usage. Prior experience using Excel strongly preferred.Some college is also strongly preferred.If an hourly or salary range is included in this ad it represents the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
