As a Continuous Improvement/Process Engineering Co-op - you will

work collaboratively and independently with critical manufacturing, engineering, and transactional process leaders to help management achieve strategic goals and impact financial results. You will learn to challenge conventional thinking, and work as needed to support tactical efforts, serving as both a team leader and coach.

You will:

Attain results in ambiguous and changing situationsMentor and lead diverse teams to attain project results while developing peopleBuild rapport and influence others in a positive mannerSolve technical problems using facts while managing change and project risk

In addition to a great hands-on learning experience you will also acquire the skills needed to:

Gain confidence in your ability to influence people and manage potentially contentious situations to a positive resultAct as a liaison to all areas of the organization while you drive execution across manufacturing and transactional processes

Qualifications of a successful candidate:

Current enrollment in a BS program with a major in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a degree related to Manufacturing Engineering emphasis or Operations ManagementA desire to reach beyond the typical engineering role into problem identification, solving and continuous improvementA desire to lead cross functional teamsA desire to understand our marine industry customers and work to improve their experience on the waterMinimum first semester junior status with 48 completed creditsAvailability to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) through a full co-op term running January to August 2025 or June to December 2025The ability to enroll in a formalized co-op Program through your universityDependable, self-motivated and engaged learnerGood communication skills
