Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst to join our team in the Greater Philadelphia area. The Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst will ensure that diligence processes foster strong relationships with M& A targets, ensures the targets align with client’s strategic objectives, enhance company culture, and make newly acquired entities feel part of the broader mission and team.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform buy-side financial and business due diligence projects, including quality of earnings analysis, financial modeling, and KPI/business metric analysis.
+ Help client realize the potential of our mergers and acquisitions via integration and synergies analysis.
+ Perform financial due diligence on key areas of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
+ Formulate questions and propose basic adjustments based on the identification of key risks and business drivers.
+ Lead analysis on key operational data, net working capital, debt, and debt-like items.
Requirements
The ideal Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst will have a Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or similar.
Other requirements for the Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst role include and are not limited to:
+ 4+ years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level required.
+ Solid experience in the following: accounting, audit, or transaction advisory services.
+ Strong current knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services or mergers and acquisitions.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and experience interacting with peer leaders;
+ Good oral and written communications skills.
