Work you'll do/Responsibilities This project outlines the creation and reconfiguration of POD teams to address new projects and phases in personal lines insurance with Deloittes Insurance Client. Teams will be either newly formed or reconfigured with over 50% new resources to ensure they possess the necessary skills for innovative and evolving project requirements. + Oversee the deployment of applications - single page Apps and Lambdas as APIs - to AWS cloud platforms using Jenkins, Urbancode, and Terraform, automating infrastructure provisioning and management. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members; ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices. + Write and maintain unit test cases using testing frameworks such as Jest, Postman, Mocha, or Chai to ensure code quality and reliability. + Perform analysis, design, write API Specs using OAS/Swagger, development, and configuration functions, defining technical requirements, and resolving complex defects and incidents. + Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and sprint demos; collaborate with Product Owners to define and prioritize the product backlog; ensure the team adheres to agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. + Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management + Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes The Team The US Cloud Engineering Offering focuses on enabling our client's end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of Cloud Strategy and Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development & Integration, Cloud Migration, and Cloud Infrastructure & Managed Services.
