Job Description

You will analyze and optimize production logistics processes in the global manufacturing network using the installed Manufacturing Executive System (MES). You will be responsible for the further development of production logistics processes in the manufacturing network, creating specifications, performance descriptions, and tender documents.

 

Your tasks will also include the worldwide commissioning of the MES and associated hardware, supervising executing companies, and accepting services. You will develop and implement training measures, initiate process assessments and reviews, and strategically monitor the progress of process changes. You will initiate and accompany change measures and harmonize the MES processes in the global manufacturing network.

Qualifications

**Incident Management:**

- 1st Level Support for problems within the department

- Escalation of problems using the MES ticket system

- Escalation to CI support for problems using the P5 ticket system

- Active tracking of escalated problems

- Testing and acceptance of resolved problems (Hotfix)

- Participation in regular meetings, e.g., service meetings

- Collaboration in the creation of emergency concepts

 

**Change Management / Project Management:**

- Description of process changes and new processes for the department

- Creation of a service demand for new process requirements

- Collaboration with key users from other departments/locations on cross-departmental processes and standardized processes used multiple times

- Participation in MES projects and system changes in the own department

- Responsible for the expansion, maintenance, execution, and archiving of test scenarios (Storybooks)

- Project acceptance/release for software transport of new or changed processes by accepting the test scenarios (Storybooks / HP ALM Testlab)

- Training of users in the department/area and creation of training materials

- Monitoring (Idocs, storage units, inventories, orders, etc.)

 

**Qualifications:**

- **Degree:** Completed studies in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering, technical informatics, or comparable

- **Experience and Know-How:** Experience in manufacturing, process support, and technical IT. Profound knowledge in SAP, ME systems, and IT tools as well as basic knowledge in software creation or programming

- **Working Style:** High personal commitment and willingness to shape, creative approach to tasks, enjoyment of independent work in projects

- **Personality:** Flexible, resilient, and open to new challenges

- **Mobility:** Willingness to travel

- **Languages:** Spanish, English, German (preferable)*
