Job Description:

Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Metal Fabricators in the Winston Salem, NC area!

In this role, you will be responsible for the conversion and fabrication of metal components, weldments and displays that require the use of sheet metal, metal tube wire, as well as other alloys and raw material configurations.

Responsibilities:

– Set up all equipment required to fabricate components and finished displays including but not limited to manual tools, CNC Press Brakes, Manual Press Brakes, Shears, Laser Cutters, Lathes, Boring Equipment, and all other machine centers used in the conversion and assembly of metal materials.
– Operation of all equipment required to fabricate components and finished displays including but not limited to manual tools, CNC Press Brakes, Manual Press Brakes, Shears, Laser Cutters, Lathes, Boring Equipment, and all other machine centers used in the conversion and assembly of metal materials.
– Perform MIG, TIG and Resistance Welding, bending and forming processes as required as a part of the metal conversion and fabrication requirements.
– Operate both a Wet Paint and Powder Coating applications making sure to demonstrate the attention to detail needed to produce flawless finished components.
– Perform all required quality inspections ensuring that the materials being produced meet and exceed the customer’s specifications as well as those detailed in the engineering package.

Desired Background/Skills:

– An Associate’s degree in Applied Science, manufacturing, engineering or other related field and/or High School Diploma a
– 2+ years of fabrication experience.
-Proficiency in metal forming techniques and principles while possessing a good understanding of design and construction methods.
-Working knowledge of a table saw, band saw, disc sander, jointer, drill press and milling machine.
-Must be at least 18 years of age.
