Job Descriptions: GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Prepares shelters, pieces, and parts for paint. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: + Receives verbal and written instructions. + Receives units, washes/rinses, and dries with a cloth. + Removes masking from holes and cleans with solvent. + Vibrates spot weld marks, scratches, excess sealer, and adhesive. + Checks the surface to be painted for dents, hand buffs dents, and fills with J7 body filler. + Vibrates filler to achieve a smooth surface. + Cuts paper using patterns, covers, and mask areas not to be painted. + Tack rags unit to remove lint and dust and moves to the paint booth. + Use vibrator in completion of operations.
