**Metal Finisher in Anoka, MN, US Pay $21-22/hr** **Job Description** Employees will start out working on an assembly line, learning the products the company makes. This might involve doing simple mechanical assembly. As they become proficient in certain processes along the line, they will cross-train in various areas. They will also work in grinding, where they will use a hand grinder to smooth out rough edges or polish the metal to a nice finish. **Responsibilities** + Work on an assembly line to learn company products. + Perform simple mechanical assembly tasks. + Cross-train in grinding, using a hand grinder to smooth out rough edges or polish metal. + Participate in basic fabrication, cutting sheets of metal to length with a tape measure. + Engage in spot welding to hold sheet metal in place during assembly. + Cross-train into MIG welding as needed. + Rotate around various production line tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in sheet metal fabrication, automotive or lube technicians, construction, concrete, or former military roles. + Willingness to learn multiple work stations. + Blueprint reading experience preferred but not required. + Strong desire to advance one's career within fabrication and welding. + Physical ability to stand for 8-10 hours, lift, push, bend, and climb as needed. + Hand dexterity and physical stamina. + Excellent attendance and punctuality. **Why Work Here?** EXCELLENT benefits including PTO, 401K matching, Holiday Pay, Health, Vision, and Dental.
