**Job Title: Metal Finisher** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Metal Finisher to join our fabrication department. This role involves using a handheld grinding tool to smooth out newly welded parts, ensuring a quality finish for subsequent painting. Though the job is physically demanding, it offers an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to earn competitive pay. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided. 1st Shift: 5am-3:30pm, M-TH with overtime Friday's when posted 2nd Shift: 3:30pm-2am, M-Th with overtime Friday's when posted $20.70/hr for 1st shift, $22.70 for 2nd Shift **Responsibilities** + Remove all weld spatter. + Smooth metals correctly to ensure paint adherence. + Operate a handheld grinder. + Move materials as needed. + Wear protective PPE to safeguard against sparks while grinding. **Essential Skills** + Experience with grinder, metal finishing, and power tools. + Ability to operate small electric grinding tools. + Effective communication skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6 months of fabrication experience preferred. + Mechanically inclined with a good work history. + Ability to work with power and hand tools. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance options, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and more.
