**Description** Looking for a Metal Finisher for 1st and 2nd shift (1 per shift). Post welding, finishers will use hand and air tools to polish/regrain to number 4 finish. Looking for candidates that have used electric or air tools, die grinders. 1st shift - 6am to 4:30pm Monday - Thursday; Friday overtime as needed, here and there 2nd shift - 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM Monday - Thursday; Friday overtime as needed, here and there Work done before Metal Finisher gets materials below: Will report directly to the Welding Supervisor. Candidate will also be working with 10 other welders in the final assembly department. In the final assembly department they will take parts that have been machined/cut to size and they will fabricate the pieces together. Most of the TIG welding will be horizontal welds but they will have to weld in multiple positions. Candidate will oversee and support all TIG welding and final assembly of products. The position will be 95% TIG welding and 5% MIG welding. Outside of welding, the candidate will be responsible for using hand tools to finish rough edges on newly stamped or formed stainless steel or aluminum. These tools will be angle grinders and sanders. They may also use a tube bender, drill press, and a saw to help create the parts needed. Candidates will also need to read blue prints that will layout each job, each print is client specific for short run production/ Single Job. **Skills** Grinding, Finisher, Polishing, Blueprint, Finish **Top Skills Details** Grinding, Finisher, Polishing **Additional Skills & Qualifications** MUST HAVES: 1) Minimum of 1 years Metal Finishing 2) Minimum of 1 years reading/interpreting blue prints.
