**Job Title: Metal Finisher** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Metal Finisher for our 2nd shift. As a Metal Finisher, you will be responsible for using hand and air tools to polish and regrain materials. The ideal candidate will have experience with electric or air tools, such as die grinders. **Responsibilities** + Use hand and air tools to polish and regrain materials to a number 4 finish. + Finish rough edges on newly stamped or formed stainless steel or aluminum using angle grinders and sanders. + Use a tube bender, drill press, and saw to create parts as needed. + Read and interpret blueprints for each job, ensuring client-specific requirements are met. + Communicate daily with the Welding Supervisor and Plant Manager. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1 year of metal finishing experience. + Minimum of 1 year of experience reading and interpreting blueprints. + Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently. + Welding experience is preferred **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with fabrication and assembly. + Proficiency with machine shop tools (lathe, Bridgeport, saw, grinders, etc.). + Pipefitting experience. + Candidates currently attending school for an Associate's in Welding Technologies may be considered. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a laid-back and family-oriented culture where employees are encouraged to cross-train and continue learning. The facility is divided into multiple areas for work in process, from raw material to finished product, all under one roof. The departments include Engineering, Machining, Welding, Metal Finishing, and Shipping/Receiving. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
