Job DescriptionEmployees will start out working on an assembly line, learning the products the company makes. This might involve doing simple mechanical assembly. As they become proficient in certain processes along the line, they will cross-train in various areas. They will also work in grinding, where they will use a hand grinder to smooth out rough edges or polish the metal to a nice finish. After learning basic metal fabrication, you will be given the opportunity to cross-train into Welding and Machine Operating.ResponsibilitiesCross-train in grinding, using a hand grinder to smooth out rough edges or polish metal.Participate in basic fabrication, cutting sheets of metal to length with a tape measure.Engage in spot welding to hold sheet metal in place during assembly.Cross-train into MIG welding as needed.Rotate around various production line tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with any sort of welding; professionally, in school, or in your garage!Strong desire to advance one's career within fabrication and welding.Physical ability to stand for 8-10 hours, lift, push, bend, and climb as needed.Excellent attendance and punctuality.Why Work Here?EXCELLENT benefits including PTO, 401K matching, Holiday Pay, Health, Vision, and Dental.
