Location: Tyngsboro, Massachusetts

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Metal Finishing Technician in Tyngsboro, MA!

The Assembly and Metal Finishing Technician is responsible for assembling, grinding, polishing, and finishing metal components to meet high-quality standards. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that all parts are free from defects, properly finished, and ready for the next stage of production or delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in precision finishing techniques and mechanical assembly, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Monday – Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm, $20+ based on exp level.
US Citizen – ITAR Compliance

Responsibilities:

Metal Finishing and Polishing:
• Grind, sand, clean, and polish metal parts to remove defects, burrs, and sharp edges.
• Apply various finishing techniques to achieve the required surface textures and appearance.
• Operate finishing tools, including hand grinders, polishers, belt sanders, and deburring
equipment.

Quality:
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and aesthetic requirements.
• Work closely with production and design teams to resolve finishing and assembly challenges.
• Report any issues with part quality, equipment, or processes to supervisors.

Safety and Workplace Organization:
• Follow all company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of tools and equipment

Desired Background/Skills:

Qualifications & Experience
• Preferred-High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred-3+ years of experience in a fast-paced job shop or manufacturing environment.
• Preferred-Experience with grinding, polishing, deburring, and finishing metal surfaces.
• Most Important-Proven work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Willing to teach.
