Bilfinger Inc. is a leading international services contractor with a proven track record in providing integrated, multi-disciplined support services and maintenance solutions to international blue-chip clients, primarily in the energy, petrochemical, industrial, and utilities sector. We are currently recruiting for Insulators for our Theodore, Alabama facility.

Duties:

Fabricate and install - pipe and duct insulation i.e. fiberglass, elastomeric, polyisocyanurateOperate equipment such as lifts, beader crimper, brakes, shears, and hand toolsInventory and order material as neededWorks under the supervision of the Insulation Foreman and Journeyman
 

Requirements:

General knowledge of materials and installation experience a plus but will trainAbility to work from lifts, scaffolding, and ladders (safety equipment provided where required)Ability to lift up to 75 lbsAbility to work in various environments - cold, hot, tunnels, roof-tops, elevated surfacesWillingness to work overtime or modified schedule if the project requiresWillingness to travel and stay overnight for periods of time, upon requirements of the project

Minimum Qualifications: 

Must be willing to work 50 hours per week plus overtime when neededMust have reliable transportation to and from the work siteMust be at least 18 years old Required to wear appropriate PPE's on job site at all times: hard hat, safety glasses & steel to shoes 

Minimum Physical Requirements:

Must be able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, pull: objects, materials, controls, and toolsMust be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds often and occasionally up to 50 poundsMust be able to follow both verbal and written instructionMust have the ability to take direction, comprehend instructions and work well with othersMust be able to work safely alone & as a team
