**Job Title: General Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a manufacturing generalist to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you will be trained to operate various manufacturing equipment such as press brakes, CNC machines, and more. You will utilize hand tools, power tools, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a very physical position where you will work with large sheets of metal, perform deburring, general labor, and basic machine operation tasks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate manufacturing equipment including press brakes and CNC machines.
+ MUST HAVE BLUEPRINT EXPERIENCE
+ Use hand tools and power tools for various tasks.
+ Lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
+ Work with large sheets of metal.
+ Perform deburring and general labor tasks.
+ Carry out basic machine operation.
+ Complete other tasks as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous experience in a manufacturing setting.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
+ Ability to stand and work on feet for an 8-hour shift.
+ High level of English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in blueprint reading, schematics, and bills of lading (BOL).

**Work Environment**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Biddeford, Maine.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
