**Overview** Element has an opportunity for a **Metallurgist** whose primary responsibility is to perform metallurgical evaluations and confirm customer's statement of work while setting up the work order for other lab technicians to perform testing. **Responsibilities** + Perform metallographic examinations on various materials to be determine grain size, cleanliness, volume percentage of phases and general microstructure evaluation + Coordinate with the clients as to the testing details + Be willing to assist in other activities from time to time that may be requested by the department manager to assist in the execution Element's annual targets and budget **Skills / Qualifications** + Bachelor degree in Metallurgy or related discipline preferred + Minimum 5 years experience working in a laboratory in the field of metallurgy testing + Excellent technical report writing skills + Knowledge and experience of safe operation of metallurgical testing equipment and operating in lab and / or industrial environment + Excellent organizational and team leading skills \#LI-SN1 **Company Overview** Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
